Gay Rights
I have never been a member of a political party nor, till I came out, was I publically involved in gay issues. Since 1988, I have co-founded Stonewall UK, which lobbies for legal and social equality and fund-raised for the group. As patron I support other gay groups.
GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS 2008
GLAAD monitors US media to counter anti-gay remarks, jokes, etc. I am co-chair of the 20th Annual Awards.
